What's Next ?
We admit it - we are forever brainstorming potential new event ideas. Some of them have been pretty crazy. A few of them completely off the wall. Which ones stick?
Answer: A great event for us has a three key elements. It has to create buzz, stir up momentum and build the bottom line of our charitable partner.
Here's what great event ideas looks like to us:
Ideas that raise money (with less risk, more efficiently);
Ideas that leverage our event and fundraising systems (no reinventing the wheel);
Ideas that are cause-specific (focusing on one issue);
Ideas that have national scope (rather than regional);
Ideas that most people can do (inclusive of gender, age and physical ability);
Ideas that are scalable (they can grow cost effectively);
Ideas that connect the activity to the cause (we call this the 'meaning metric');
Ideas that build buzz (notoriously fun, compellingly shareable);
Ideas that help charities first (to be clear, all BSP events have to help our approved charities)
